Drew Sparacia is the founding partner of global X and has more than 20 years of Federal, State and Local, and International tax consulting experience. Drew oversees the strategic vision of the firm and devotes a significant amount of his time working with corporate and individual tax asset investors to customize solutions to meet their objectives. Further, Drew is responsible for product development and innovation – having the deep technical expertise as well as the market perspective to align the interests of clients, investors and the taxing authorities to ensure seamless and successful execution of investment strategies.
Drew is dedicated to the continuous improvement of the tax credit arena and has actively negotiated and drafted statutes that increase the marketability of incentive tax credits.
Prior to founding global X, Drew was the Director of Finance for STERIS Corporation. His work with acquisitions focused on integrating the legal structures of the new companies and implementing sophisticated planning to significantly reduce the effective tax rate. His efforts resulted in a savings of more than $30 million during his tenure. Following this experience with STERIS, Drew served as Tax Manager for Burmah Castrol, Inc., a multi-billion dollar international chemical company. Drew began his career with the Cleveland tax-consulting group of Ernst & Young LLP.
Drew previously served as a Board Member for the Mentor Exempted Village School District. He is currently a member of the Case Weatherhead School of Management Alumni Advisory Council, Class of 2013.
Drew attended Ohio Wesleyan University where he earned a BA in Accounting. Post-graduate work includes a JD/MBA from Case Western Reserve University with concentrations in tax and finance. He is admitted to practice law in Ohio.

Antonin is a Partner at global X and leads the firm’s project management and execution team. With over two decades of executive experience in financial management, operations, and marketing, his responsibilities include implementation of client engagements and the successful completion of complex transactions between tax asset investors and developers. In addition to his day-to-day responsibilities, Antonin manages and develops relationships with key developers and other real estate industry insiders and helps foster growth relating to the firm’s real estate portfolio. Furthermore, he leads advocacy efforts within the industry to foster support for key programs in support of historic redevelopment. Antonin also spends considerable time with industry participants forging relationships to advance the practices of the historic incentives industry.
Antonin’s career includes executive positions with Citibank in Germany, Spain, Mexico and the United States managing businesses as diverse as insurance products, credit card operations, and online banking and electronic delivery. He has successfully developed and grown professional services businesses in the area of new media including management of the Chicago office of USWeb/CKS as well as the development of a Latin American presence for that firm. In that role, Antonin not only managed and built highly profitable operations, but also advised major clients in their early foray into the online space including General Motors, Walgreens, and Grupo Televisa. He furthered this experience with entrepreneurial ventures in telecommunications and strategic management consulting, building startup operations, raising venture capital, and consolidating teams.
Prior to joining global X, Antonin spent three years with the Tingstol Company, a manufacturing company in the electronics industry in Chicago. Through a combination of implementing operational efficiencies, partnering with manufacturers in China, tightening financial control, and increasing sales, he was able to restructure the company leading to its sale to a venture backed firm.
Antonin received his BS/BA in International Business and Marketing from the American University in Washington, D.C. He completed his post-graduate studies at the Thunderbird School of Global Management where he received a Master’s Degree in International Management/International MBA, with a concentration in International Finance. Antonin speaks five languages and has worked internationally in Europe and Latin America.

Lynne Winings joined global X in 2011. Her primary responsibilities include overseeing the accounting and forecasting functions of the firm including cash management, financial modeling, and investment fund reporting. Her analytical skills, as well as her knowledge of the capital markets, enable Lynne to play an integral role in transaction analysis and execution. Lynne has over 18 years of experience with financial analysis and accounting.
Prior to joining global X, Lynne was the Director of Finance for a family office in which she was responsible for the company’s financial reporting, investment strategies, and asset allocation. Prior to this position, Lynne has worked in the private equity industry as an analyst.
Lynne is the Finance Chair for the Sunbeam Board serving Vocational Guidance Services.
Lynne received her BA in economics from Middlebury College in Vermont. She also attended the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University for her MBA with a concentration in finance.

David Swentor is the President of Real Estate and is responsible for developing and overseeing global X Properties’ investment and risk management activities related to investments in real estate and tax asset transactions.
David guides global X Properties’ real estate division of global X. It is tasked with discovering historic properties, acquiring related assets, transacting its properties, and establishing partner relationships for the full development of the assets. In addition, global X Properties manages its assets and monitors all maintenance issues.
Prior to joining global X, David served as President at Encore Lodging where he managed and coordinated all financial deal structures, partnerships, and capital stack requirements for deal flow. Additionally, David was responsible for asset origination, construction supervision and after development management of all assets. David also held a position as Senior Partner at Premiere Development Group. His responsibilities included discovering and structuring opportunities for PDG and its investors and investor groups. Premiere Development Group is a world class commercial development organization embracing opportunities with office, multi-family, and hospitality assets. Earlier in his career, David served as Vice President – Southeast Region of US Personnel – a Professional Employer Organization performing payroll for nearly 785 companies nationwide recording sales of over $200MM annually. In addition, as Corporate Controller at Fairmont Companies in Washington, DC, David was responsible for the overall day-to-day operation of a sector of the portfolio containing 23 companies employing 1,450 individuals. David began his career as Assistant Budget Director at the University of South Carolina and served as the liaison to the South Carolina Budget and Control Board for all budget and bond indebtedness matters.
David, along with Premiere Development Group, were recognized by Hilton Hotels International as 2012‑13 Developer of the Year for Outstanding Achievement on the development of a 112-room Hampton Inn located in New Smyrna Beach, Florida.
Currently David serves on the board of SBA CDC, Charleston Communities in Schools, and Charleston Charitable Society. David received his BSBA in Finance & Marketing at University of South Carolina and attended Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, focusing on International Trade.

Michael serves as the Senior Managing Director – Capital Markets of global X. His primary concentration is driving firmwide institutional and corporate capital raising initiatives. Michael plays a lead role in Investor Development and equity capital raising efforts in support of global X products and initiatives with an emphasis on historic rehabilitation, renewable energy, and JV equity for real estate development and acquisitions. In addition, he leads the sourcing of any debt capital for project level financing needs.
Over the past 25+ years, Michael has been committed to real estate, equity finance and investment banking. His real estate, corporate and investment banking experience coupled with knowledge of real estate development and the equity capital markets has led to Michael raising and investing over $3.0 billion in luxury and workforce multifamily and student housing nationwide within over 450 properties representing 66,000 apartment units. Most recently, Michael served as the Chief Investment Officer at The NRP Group, a fully integrated real estate development firm. While at NRP, he led and managed all property level equity capital raising efforts raising over $1.1 billion in equity for nearly 100 new construction residential rental properties with costs in excess of $2.1 billion. Michael also founded NaviStone Partners, NRP’s financial advisory and investment banking arm. Prior to his time at The NRP Group, Michael was at Credit Suisse originating equity investments of over $300 million in ground-up multifamily. He also served as a Director of Acquisitions at GMAC Capital Corp where he closed over 170 transactions representing equity investments in excess of $800 million. In addition, Michael was one of four original founders of KeyBank – Key Global Capital. As a Managing Director of Key Global Capital he was tasked with origination, structuring and closing of over $525 million of equity investments in over 140 multi-family projects.
Michael has served on boards for the following organizations: Jewish Community Housing; Cleveland Jewish Federation (Allocations Committee and Community Actions Committee); Gold Founder Contributor to Playhouse Square; and active in Cleveland’s Little League Youth Baseball Program. He is a past member of the GMAC Real Estate Advisory Council and has been recognized by KeyBank’s Pinnacle Club and by the GMAC Chairman’s Club. Michael was a contributor to Developer’s Guide for Low-Income Tax Credit – Fourth Edition and Affordable Housing Financing Magazine.

Gordon is the Managing Director of Tax Advisory Services at global X. He directs, develops, and manages our relationships with CPA and tax advisory firms. Gordon brings over 18 years of public accounting knowledge in tax compliance, planning, research, and merger and acquisition diligence, as well as experience in estate and tax planning for high net-worth individuals and businesses.
Prior to joining global X, Gordon was the Tax Director at Thornhill Financial (a full service CPA firm) in Strongsville, Ohio. Previous to Thornhill, Gordon served as the Chief Investment Officer for the State of Ohio in the Office of the State Treasurer Josh Mandel. In addition, his previous work experience includes Ernst & Young, University Hospitals of Cleveland, Ciuni & Panichi, Inc., and SS&G Financial Services.
Gordon is also a member of the boards of United Cerebral Palsy of Cleveland, Strongsville Education Foundation (where he serves as chairman of the finance committee), and the Northern Ohio Credit Association. He previously served on the board of the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad, where he served as chair of the Audit Committee.
Gordon received his BSBA in accounting from John Carroll University and his Juris Doctorate from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law at Cleveland State University. He is a licensed CPA and Attorney in the State of Ohio. Gordon earned the distinction of being a Marshall Memorial Fellow in 2012.

Adrienne oversees the business development activities of the firm including asset originations and investor development. She blends her legal and business experience to help customers on both sides of the transactions navigate the asset class for optimal benefits. In addition, Adrienne is a key contributor to the Ohio Historic Tax Credit Fund, a fund that invests in historic rehabilitation projects in Ohio.
Prior to joining global X, Adrienne worked at the Weatherhead School of Management in Cleveland, Ohio and as an associate attorney in the Corporate Law Practice Group at Ulmer & Berne LLP.
Adrienne earned her JD/MBA with a concentration in Accounting from Case Western Reserve University. Prior to Case, Adrienne graduated cum laude from the University of Dayton and holds two Bachelor degrees in Biology, and Psychology.

Shelby serves as a Director at global X and focuses on developing business in the southeastern United States. She maintains and promotes key customer relationships with our CPA firms, law firms, investment advisors, and large corporate entities. With over a decade of experience, Shelby strategically implements her expertise and strategy in expanding the company’s customer base.
Prior to joining global X, Shelby served as the Director of Business Development for HLB Gross Collins, a Middle Market Accounting firm with a focus on Construction, Real Estate, Financial Services, Healthcare, Technology, Manufacturing and Distribution. Throughout Shelby’s years of service, she was engaged with many organizations throughout Metro Atlanta that made an impact on the business.
Shelby earned a degree in International Affairs from Kennesaw State University. In June 2016, Shelby was appointed to the Doraville Downtown Development Authority by the Mayor/Council of Doraville, Georgia. Shelby’s philanthropic endeavors and association participation allows her to cultivate relationships with decision makers in the broader community, as well as support causes dear to her heart. She is a founding member and Co-President of Ellevate Atlanta, serves on the Board of Advisors for Cobb Senior Services, and is a member of the Atlanta Regional Commission Strategic Implementation Plan’s Livable Sub-Committee. Recently, Shelby was selected to participate in the White House’s Summit on the United State of Women in Washington, D.C.

Taylor Davis joined global X in 2014 as Director of Originations – Real Estate. Applying his experience in real estate development, Taylor is responsible for identifying qualifying historic preservation and adaptive reuse projects. In this role, he conducts initial due diligence – including cost modeling and projections as well as overall project feasibility. Taylor interacts with developers and potential prospects and provides support to the transaction execution team to move projects through the full transaction cycle to a successful close.
Most recently, Taylor served as Chief Development Officer and Partner of Armstrong Hospitality, a boutique development firm focused on historic adaptive re-use projects involving historic tax incentives. Taylor began his career in the Florida Panhandle where he managed various aspects of real estate development including cost analysis, client relationships, permitting/zoning, contract negotiations/buyouts, and project management of over $300 million in development for Sterling Development, a division of the Sterling Companies, based in Destin, Florida. He then served as Director of Marketing and Business Development for Ai Group, an international architecture and interior design firm based in Atlanta, Georgia.
Taylor has recently relocated from our Atlanta office. His involvement with local organizations in Atlanta include the American Cancer Society, First Tee, and Feed Fannin.

Daniel joined global X in 2014. As a Director and trained tax attorney, he assists in many of the legal and technical tax support needs for global X and its programs. Daniel works closely with developers, investors, and the global X team to assist in the structure and completion of a wide variety of transactions.
Prior to joining global X, Daniel practiced as a tax attorney in a boutique transactional law firm, specializing in the structuring and execution of real estate transactions, including New Markets and Historic Rehabilitation Tax Credit transactions. Additionally, he assisted clients in tax planning, compliance and controversies with Federal and State tax authorities. In addition to private practice, Daniel previously worked as in-house counsel for several closely-held companies in Illinois.
Daniel is a member of the American Bar Association’s Section of Taxation, the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, and the Tax Club of Cleveland.
Daniel earned his Master of Laws in Taxation at Northwestern University. He received his JD at Chicago-Kent College of Law, and BS in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is admitted to practice law in Illinois and Ohio.

Scott Monaco joined global X in 2013 as Director of Transaction Services. Leveraging his comprehensive experience on both sides of a transaction, Scott is focused on facilitating deals from the earliest stages of diligence through execution. In addition to deal structuring, Scott is responsible for internal diligence and reporting to ensure the seamless transfer of information across all facets of global X.
Scott served 14 years as vice president of a prominent Cleveland-based Family Office where he was responsible for managing the group’s private equity platform. The expansive portfolio featured commitments to private funds of all stages and strategies, as well as a significant number of direct investments made in early stage companies. Scott was integrally involved in each stage of the investment process and worked closely with entrepreneurs and third parties in reaching agreements, developing strategies, and executing key initiatives. Scott began his career in the retail management division of The Walt Disney Company in Orlando, Florida.
Scott earned a BS in Economics and Spanish, magna cum laude, from Cleveland State University. He was inducted as an inaugural member of the Business Honor Society of Baldwin Wallace University (formerly Baldwin-Wallace College) after earning an MBA in Systems Management. Scott currently serves as President of the Baldwin Wallace MBA Association and is a Branch Advisory Board Member for the YMCA.

With over 15 years of experience in the real estate industry, Sharon Knuth is the Director of Project Management, helping to move projects through the due diligence, underwriting, and closing process. Sharon has worked for both for-profit and nonprofit organizations managing the acquisition, design, financing, construction and lease up of projects throughout the eastern United States.
Prior to joining global X, Sharon was a Senior Development Project Manager for PIRHL LLC, an integrated developer/general contractor based in Cleveland. At PIRHL, she managed the organization’s new construction and rehabilitation projects in Maryland and North Carolina with total project costs of over $90 million. From 2009 to 2013, Sharon was a Project Manager with Victory Housing, Inc. in Rockville, Maryland, the nonprofit development arm of the Archdiocese of Washington. While at Victory, she managed the development and construction of three new apartment communities for seniors and the acquisition of two existing properties. Additionally, Sharon’s previous experience included serving four years as an Acquisitions Officer with Fairfield Residential LLC, a national apartment developer and owner with over 50,000 units under management where she was responsible for securing tax exempt bond allocations for the firm on the East Coast, which resulted in $126 million in allocations in four states. Sharon began her career with Enterprise Homes, Inc. in Baltimore, Maryland, where she worked on Wheeler Creek, a $54 million HOPE VI mixed income redevelopment project in the District of Columbia. Wheeler Creek was awarded a Best in American Living Award from the National Association of Home Builders in 2002.
Sharon is an active member of the Urban Land Institute’s Cleveland Chapter where she serves on the Program Committee.
Sharon received a Bachelor of Arts in Urban and Regional Planning from Miami University, a Master of Regional Planning from the University of North Carolina, and a Master of Business Administration from The Ohio State University.

Helen Tocco joined global X in 2014 and serves as a key contributor to the company’s technical expertise and is a driver of project-level analysis, management, and site coordination. Helen often takes her skill set into the field as she works directly with developers and EPC contractors on location and offers global X real-time insight into construction progress and project implementation.
Prior to joining global X, Helen focused on Think Energy’s projects associated with on-site generation and green buildings, working on well over 300 megawatts of projects. As a civil engineer and an architect, Helen’s unique experience assisted clients with technology, design, and construction-related work. Helen also directed projects relating to Green Buildings or LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification and guided teams through researching and permitting. Helen conducted the majority of site visits done for clients, quickly assessing rooftops or other facilities for placement of on-site generation renewable energy systems such as solar hot water, small wind, or solar photovoltaics.
Some of Helen’s accomplishments include managing the construction of one of the largest continuous rooftop-mounted PV systems in North America, and assessing the wind and solar resources of over 1,000 facilities belonging to one client. She is also a member of Women in Solar Energy.
Helen holds two Bachelor of Science degrees in Architecture and in Civil Engineering from Catholic University of America.
