Drew Sparacia is the Founder & CEO of global X and has more than 18 years of Federal, State and Local and International tax consulting experience. Drew oversees the strategic vision of the firm and devotes a significant amount of his time working with corporate and individual tax asset investors to customize solutions to meet their objectives. Further, Drew is responsible for product development and innovation – having the deep technical expertise as well as the market perspective to align the interests of clients, investors and the taxing authorities to ensure seamless and successful execution of investment strategies.
Drew is dedicated to the continuous improvement of the tax credit arena and has actively negotiated and drafted statutes that increase the marketability of incentive tax credits.
Prior to founding global X, Drew was the Director of Finance for STERIS Corporation. His work with acquisitions focused on integrating the legal structures of the new companies and implementing sophisticated planning to significantly reduce the effective tax rate. His efforts resulted in a savings of more than $30 million during his tenure. Following this experience with STERIS, Drew served as Tax Manager for Burmah Castrol, Inc., a multibillion dollar international chemical company. Drew began his career with the Cleveland tax-consulting group of Ernst & Young LLP.
Drew currently serves as a Board Member for the Mentor Exempted Village school system. He is also a member of the Case Weatherhead School of Management Alumni Advisory Council Class of 2013.
Drew attended Ohio Wesleyan University where he earned a BA in Accounting. Post-graduate work includes a JD/MBA from Case Western Reserve University with concentrations in tax and finance. He is admitted to practice law in Ohio.

Randy joined global X in 2011 as a Partner. He brings to the team more than two decades of executive management and leadership experience. His primary responsibilities at global X include firm operations, strategy development and implementation, and investor development and reporting. In addition to his day-to-day responsibilities, Randy leads the firm’s capital markets and principal investing initiatives.
Prior to joining global X, Randy spent eight years as co-founder and Managing Partner of private equity firm, Capital Acceleration Partners in Cleveland, OH. In addition to his role there, he served as Executive Chairman at Phylogy, Inc. in Santa Clara, California, as Chairman of Geotrac Holdings in Norwalk, Ohio as a director of LVH Holdings in New York, New York, and Wireless Environment, in Cleveland, Ohio. Prior to his principal investment experience, Randy served as Managing Director and Chair of the Growth Strategies practice at a leading turnaround and restructuring firm and as the Director of Market Strategy and Business Development in the Bristol-Myers Squibb consumer products organization.
Randy is involved in the community having served as President of the Association for Corporate Growth’s Cleveland chapter; a Trustee of the Suicide Prevention Educaton Alliance of Northeast Ohio; a member of the Funders Committee for the Fund For Our Economic Future; a Trustee of the Sogg Foundation; a director and officer of Cleveland Social Venture Partners.
Randy received his BA in economics from the University of Vermont and his MBA from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University.

Timm joined global X as a Partner in 2011. He possesses extensive experience in the financing and development of historic rehabilitation projects. In 2011, he established the firm’s small deal historic tax credit fund with a captive investor and oversees the investment activities of that fund in projects generating $3.0 million or less of federal historic credits. In both small and large historic projects, Timm has assisted developers in optimizing financial structures and sourcing both debt and equity capital for projects, including equity generated by federal and state historic tax credits, conservation easements, New Markets tax credits, and other historic development incentives. His areas of expertise include the rehabilitation of historic office, multifamily, and hospitality properties, and the adaptive re-use of other structures for those purposes. Timm maintains relationships with key national investors and participants in the historic tax credit industry, as well as numerous regional financial institutions, accounting firms, and architectural firms. He serves as the firm’s representative on the Historic Tax Credit Coalition, a small group formed by the National Trust for Historic Preservation for the purpose of protecting and advancing the efficacy of tax credit and conservation easement investment tools.
Timm also oversees a new initiative at the firm, global X Fiduciary, which provides fiduciary services to taxable and tax-exempt institutional investors investing in real estate. Those services include portfolio management and consulting, acquisition and disposition due diligence, and asset-specific oversight.
Prior to joining global X, Timm served as the Chief Investment Officer of The Ferchill Group, a Cleveland-based real estate development and management company whose primary emphasis was historic projects. Previously, Timm served as senior consultant at a leading institutional real estate consulting firm that managed the real estate portfolios of public and private pension funds and subsequently co-founded a firm that specialized in that same discipline. He also served as corporate counsel-finance with Figgie International Inc., Cleveland, OH and spent six years in the practice of commercial law with Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease, based in Columbus, OH.

Kevin joined global X as a Partner in 2008. As a tax attorney with over 20 years of experience, he is responsible for all legal and technical support needs for global X and its programs. Additionally, Kevin oversees the structuring and implementation of all client and investor transactions, manages the firm’s inventory of available tax assets and investors, and coordinates the underwriting and due diligence processes for transactional opportunities. Kevin also devotes time to the development and management of strategic partners around the country in order to maximize tax asset opportunities for the firm’s clients and its tax asset investors. Kevin’s vast experience in representing taxpayer interests ensures that global X clients are well positioned.
Prior to joining global X, Kevin spent 18 years with the law firm of Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP, a large, full-service law firm based in Columbus, Ohio. At Vorys, Kevin was a Partner in the firm’s tax group where he specialized in state and local tax planning, compliance and litigation. Kevin’s vast tax experience is evidenced by his extensive representation of taxpayers before various tax tribunals and administrative agencies. He also was a frequent speaker at state tax conferences, testified before legislative tax committees and served as tax counsel for various trade associations.
Kevin earned his JD and BA in Behavioral Science & Law from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is admitted to practice law in Ohio.

Antonin is a partner at global X and leads the firm’s project management and execution team. With over two decades of executive experience in financial management, operations, and marketing, his responsibilities include implementation of client engagements and the successful completion of complex transactions between tax asset investors and developers. In addition to his day-to-day responsibilities, Antonin manages the firm’s marketing initiatives and is responsible for oversight of the firm’s real estate portfolio. Antonin spends considerable time with industry participants forging relationships to advance the practices of the historic incentives industry.
Antonin’s career includes executive positions with Citibank in Germany, Spain, Mexico and the US managing businesses as diverse as insurance products, credit card operations, and online banking and electronic delivery. He has successfully developed and grown professional services businesses in the area of new media including management of the Chicago office of USWeb/ CKS as well as the development of a Latin American presence for that firm. In that role Antonin not only managed and built highly profitable operations, but also advised major clients in their early foray into the online space including General Motors, Walgreens, and Grupo Televisa. He furthered this experience with entrepreneurial ventures in telecommunications and strategic management consulting, building startup operations, raising venture capital, and consolidating teams.
Prior to joining global X, Antonin spent three years with the Tingstol Company, a manufacturing company in the electronics industry in Chicago. Through a combination of implementing operational efficiencies, partnering with manufacturers in China, tightening financial control, and increasing sales, he was able to restructure the company leading its sale to a venture backed firm.
Antonin received his BS/BA in International Business and Marketing from the American University in Washington, DC. He completed his post-graduate studies at the Thunderbird School of Global Management where he received a Masters degree in International Management/International MBA with a concentration in International Finance. Antonin has worked internationally in Europe and Latin America and speaks five languages.

Lynne Winings joined global X in 2011. Her primary responsibilities include overseeing the accounting and forecasting functions of the firm including cash management, financial modeling and investment fund reporting. Her analytical skills as well as her knowledge of the capital markets enable Lynne to play an integral role in transaction analysis and execution. Lynne has over 15 years of experience with financial analysis and accounting.
Prior to joining global X, Lynne was the Director of Finance for a family office in which she was responsible for the company’s financial reporting, investment strategies and asset allocation. Prior to this position, Lynne has worked in the private equity industry as an analyst.
Lynne received her BA in economics from Middlebury College in Vermont. She also attended the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University for her MBA with a concentration in finance. Lynne also serves as the Finance Chair for the Sunbeam Board serving Vocational Guidance Services.

As a Director at global X, Tony brings nearly 30 years of deep tax knowledge and experience to the firm. Having served the first part of his career in public accounting, and later serving on the operating side as the CFO of a large private company, Tony uses his vast experience and technical knowledge to tailor solutions to meet clients’ objectives. The combination of his professional services and operating experiences allow him to take the client’s view and assist them in the most effective way. Tony looks for ways to help clients reduce their federal and state tax burdens while participating in socially responsible projects.
Most recently, Tony served as the CFO and COO of a large tax credit syndicator in the Southeast. During that time, he passed his Series 62 and 63 FINRA Examinations in order to work more closely with the investors in the firm’s products. In private industry Tony served as the CFO of a large national restaurant chain. In this role he also served as the CEO of the company’s food distribution business. During his tenure he took the distribution business from a small, unprofitable business, to being the largest and most profitable privately owned food distributor in Georgia.
In his 17-year career in public accounting, Tony was a well-known tax practitioner at both Touche Ross and BDO Seidman. He also served for ten years as the managing partner of a large local Atlanta firm. While at BDO, Tony was selected to serve as a National CPE Instructor for third and fourth year tax professionals in the firm. Also while at BDO, he co-authored a textbook on estate and gift taxation for WGL with David Rhine. Over the course of his career Tony has published several articles on various topics of taxation and has been a speaker at various tax forums around the country.

Adrienne oversees the business development activities of the firm including asset originations and investor development. She blends her legal and business experience to help customers on both sides of the transactions navigate the asset class for optimal benefits. In addition, Adrienne is responsible for the global X Renewable Tax Credit Funds initiative, a product that leverages the Federal investment tax credit associated with the development of solar energy production facilities in the United States.
Prior to joining global X, Adrienne worked at the Weatherhead School of Management in Cleveland, OH and as an associate attorney in the Corporate Law Practice Group at Ulmer & Berne LLP. Adrienne earned her JD/ MBA with a Concentration in Accounting from Case Western Reserve University. Prior to Case, Adrienne graduated cum laude from the University of Dayton with dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology and Psychology.

Scott Monaco joined global X in 2013 as Director of Transaction Services. Leveraging his comprehensive experience on both sides of a transaction, Scott is focused on facilitating deals from the earliest stages of diligence through execution. In addition to deal structuring, Scott is responsible for internal diligence and reporting to ensure the seamless transfer of information across all facets of global X.
Scott joins global X after 14 years serving as vice president of a prominent Cleveland-based Family Office where he was responsible for managing the group’s private equity platform. The expansive portfolio featured commitments to private funds of all stages and strategies as well as a significant number of direct investments made in early stage companies. Scott was integrally involved in each stage of the investment process and worked closely with entrepreneurs and third parties in reaching agreements, developing strategies, and executing key initiatives. Scott began his career in the retail management division of the Walt Disney Company in Orlando, Florida.
Scott earned a BS in Economics and Spanish, magna cum laude, from Cleveland State University and after earning an MBA in Systems Management was inducted as an inaugural member of the Business Honor Society of Baldwin Wallace University (formerly Baldwin-Wallace College). Scott currently serves as president of the Baldwin Wallace MBA Association.

As a Director with global X, Morgan Allen is responsible for providing tax consulting services to investors and developers related to the utilization of federal and state tax asset programs. She works closely with developers, investors and tax authorities to provide a unified value-add experience for customers. For nearly a decade, Morgan has applied her expertise in Federal and State tax consulting to assist a number of privately held businesses, high net-worth entrepreneurs and executives on both a national and international level.
Prior to joining global X, Morgan worked as a tax professional and Business Development Manager for CPA firms including Frazier & Deeter and CohnReznick where she managed complex tax returns and specialized in working with multiple generation entities and trusts.
Morgan received her BBA in International Finance and Accounting from the Regents Business School London in London, England. Morgan is also heavily involved with Women Leadership Initiatives, where participating in various programs including the Judson Collegiate & Legends program. She also created the Women’s Initiative for Frazier & Deeter, by creating a partnership with a WNBA team, the Atlanta Dream.

Megan Gallagher Rowell is a manager at global X. Her primary responsibilities include asset origination, project due diligence and transaction execution. Since joining global X, Megan has been involved in sourcing, evaluating and executing numerous complex transactions in the historic preservation arena. In addition, she has been a key player in placing capital from the global X Historic Tax Credit Fund – leading due diligence investigations, preparing and analyzing financial models and working with outside counsel on both sides to ensure results are optimized for all parties and that investor risk is mitigated.
Megan’s continued involvement with state and local preservation offices in various jurisdictions has spurred new project and relationship opportunities. She works closely with project sponsors and market participants to establish lasting, value-added relationships that have proven to enhance the transaction experience for parties on all sides.
Megan’s experience with global X began as an internship opportunity. During this time, she successfully implemented high-value multi-level projects and was rewarded with a full time position. Megan adds value to the global X team as she ensures proper project execution and gains in-depth experience in tax strategies.
Megan graduated from Bowling Green State University where she received a BS/BA in Financial Economics.
