Catahoula Hotel

Catahoula Hotel

New Orleans, LA

The Catahoula Hotel consists of two townhomes — a two-story structure built in approximately 1923 and a three-story brick building built in approximately 1840. Located in the Central Business District of New Orleans, the Catahoula Hotel was developed into an upscale 35-room boutique hotel which includes a tiki rooftop terrace and a Peruvian-inspired bar and restaurant. global X consulted on the placement of a preservation easement and structuring for use of historic tax credits on the buildings. Most recently, Louisiana Landmarks Society, a statewide organization, recognized the Catahoula Hotel project with a 2017 Award for Excellence in Historic Preservation.
