Kevin joined global X as a Partner in 2008.  As a tax attorney with over 20 years of experience, he is responsible for all legal and technical support needs for global X and its programs.  Additionally, Kevin oversees the structuring and implementation of all client and investor transactions, manages the firm’s inventory of available tax assets and investors, and coordinates the underwriting and due diligence processes for transactional opportunities.  Kevin also devotes time to the development and management of strategic partners around the country in order to maximize tax asset opportunities for the firm’s clients and its tax asset investors.  Kevin’s vast experience in representing taxpayer interests ensures that global X clients are well positioned.

Prior Experience
Prior to joining global X, Kevin spent 18 years with the law firm of Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP, a large, full-service law firm based in Columbus, Ohio.  At Vorys, Kevin was a Partner in the firm’s tax group where he specialized in state and local tax planning, compliance and litigation.  Kevin’s vast tax experience is evidenced by his extensive representation of taxpayers before various tax tribunals and administrative agencies.  He also was a frequent speaker at state tax conferences, testified before legislative tax committees and served as tax counsel for various trade associations.

Kevin earned his JD and BA in Behavioral Science & Law from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is admitted to practice law in Ohio.
