Randy joined global X in 2011 as a Partner.  He brings to the team more than two decades of executive management and leadership experience.  His primary responsibilities at global X include firm operations, strategy development and implementation, and investor development and reporting.  In addition to his day-to-day responsibilities, Randy leads the firm’s capital markets and principal investing initiatives.

Prior Experience
Prior to joining global X, Randy spent eight years as co-founder and Managing Partner of private equity firm, Capital Acceleration Partners in Cleveland, OH.  In addition to his role there, he served as Executive Chairman at Phylogy, Inc. in Santa Clara, California, as Chairman of Geotrac Holdings in Norwalk, Ohio as a director of LVH Holdings in New York, New York, and Wireless Environment, in Cleveland, Ohio.  Prior to his principal investment experience, Randy served as Managing Director and Chair of the Growth Strategies practice at a leading turnaround and restructuring firm and as the Director of Market Strategy and Business Development in the Bristol-Myers Squibb consumer products organization.

Randy is involved in the community and is the current President of the Association for Corporate Growth’s Cleveland chapter; is a Trustee of the Suicide Prevention Education Alliance of Northeast Ohio; is a member of the Funders Committee for the Fund For Our Economic Future; a Trustee of the Sogg Foundation; and a former director of Cleveland Social Venture Partners.

Randy received his BA in economics from the University of Vermont and his MBA from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University.
